All outdoor adventures carry some risk. Although we have provided safe, exciting river trips for well over a half-million clients, you as a participant must acknowledge and assume inherent risk. Our insurance company requires all adult passengers and parents or guardians of minor children under the age of 18 to sign an Acknowledgment Of Risk form prior to departure. Minimum age for kids is 6 years old; minimum weight is 50 lbs. This is mandated by our insurance company as well, and we can not make exceptions. 

Refunds will be given if trips are cancelled by Barker-Ewing due to inclement weather, or if we receive your notice of cancellation at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled trip. For Private Rafts your cancelation must be received 72 hours prior to your scheduled trip to receive a full refund.
