Get ready for a real Jackson Hole adventure with Barker-Ewing Scenic Float Trips!
Use the calendar to choose the date and time you’d like to float the river, tell us the number and ages of the passengers in your group, and follow the instructions to complete your reservation. All passengers must be at least 6 years old and 50 lbs.
You'll float through the heart of Grand Teton National Park on our signature Ten-Mile Snake River Scenic Float Trip. Our 10-Mile Classic Scenic Float Trips run from historic Deadman's Bar, located just below the Snake River Overlook, to Moose Village. With an average round trip time of 2.5 to 3 hours, these trips are an ideal length, long enough for a full river adventure yet short enough to allow you to enjoy other Jackson Hole activities the same day.
Your boatman will meet you in the Float Trip Parking lot in Moose Village, in Moose, WY, on the west side of the river (please see map.) You'll then be driven in one of our Barker-Ewing vans to the starting point at Deadman's Bar.
We provide transportation from Moose Village to the launch site (you’ll end the float trip about a hundred yards from your car), rain ponchos in the event of sudden showers and life preservers, which must be worn at all times when in the rafts.
Your raft trip will conclude near the parking lot where you'll park your car.

- Jacket or sweater for early morning or evening trips
- Soft-soled shoes
- Hat with visor
- Water bottle
- Sunscreen
- Cameras and binoculars may be brought at your own risk

Refunds will be given if trips are canceled by Barker-Ewing due to poor weather or if we receive your notice of cancellation at least 72 hours prior for private rafts.
